OS-41A is an ultra-high water reducing effect of polycarboxylate high performance water reducing admixture.
 It was developed through our own advanced synthetic technologies. The modified carboxylate copolymer as the main component, the products comply with GB 8076-2008 "Concrete Admixtures".

 

Range of Applications

OS-41A can be applied to:

Advantages

Packaging & Storage

-   OS-41A is available in 200 Kg plastic Drum, 1m3 IBC and Flexi Bag.

-   Storage at 0-40ºC, to avoid direct sunlight or freezing.

-   The shelf-life is normally 12 months. It is tested eligibility and then used when it exceeds.

 

Usage

-   OS-41A is a high performance polycarboxylate water-reducing admixture with ultra-high water-reducing function; the product can be used after dilution, or directly added to the concrete mixers with water.

-   The recommended dosage is 0.2-1.0% of the weight of cementitious materials,  
The optimum dosage should confirm by testing. And should be appropriately extended mixing time in order to achieve the best results.

-   This product can be used together with retarder, defoamer, air-entraining agent, and lignin sulfonate and so on. It cannot be used together with the  SNF superplasticizer.

-   This product has better adaptability to various types of cement, fly ash, slag powder and other types of grinding powder cementing material of concrete.

This product does not contain toxic substances, non-flammable, and no significant corrosion. Do not contact with the skin for a long time, if contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with water. Swallowing should seek medical treatment

3.Technology informations
Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer (PCE) is a kind of superplasticizer emerged in the early 80's. It is mainly used in cement concrete. In chemistry, Poly-carboxylate-based is an organic and polymeric electrolyte. It belongs to a polymer surfactant. Therefore, it can also be applied in other paste materials such as gypsum products and ceramic products to reduce water content.
Poly-carboxylate is a weak electrolyte. It can only be fully dissolved in an alkaline solution. It can compound with cations in cement/water system to control the cement hydration process and thus to reduce the slump loss of the concrete. Poly-carboxylate achieves its water reducing effect through the yield of electrostatic repulsion and steric hindrance when it is absorbed to the cement particles. Hence, Poly-carboxylate is the most effective superplasticizer for cement concrete.
Poly-carboxylate is a raw material for superplasticizer. It is recommended that applicants should determine the Poly-carboxylate dosage in their own formulation according to their trial runs.
